KMZ Holding has completed a project to build a flour mill with a production capacity of 270 tons per day at 88 Avtomshenebeli Street in Kutaisi (Industrial Free Zone). The company’s owners are non-residents of Georgia, Ukrainian citizens.
Over $6 million has been invested in the construction of the mill since 2025. The general contractor for the construction and manufacture of flour milling equipment is ORTAS DEGIRMEN MAKINALARI IC VE DIS TIC LTD STI (Turkey), a global leader in flour milling.
KMZ Holding operates the mill (with a capacity of 270 tons of wheat per day) and the elevator (with a one-time storage capacity of 20,000 tons).
The actual start date for production is 2025.
The technological advantage of the flour mill being implemented by KMZ Holding is the ability to produce high-quality products without the use of premium raw materials; grade 3 wheat is sufficient. The plant’s location in the Industrial Free Zone and proximity to the seaport provide a competitive advantage for export trade.
The company has its own railway line.
The land chosen for the flour mill is located within the Kutaisi Free Industrial Zone at 88 Avtomshenebeli Street, Kutaisi, Georgia (cadastral number 03.01.21.529). The land plot is located on the territory of the Kutaisi Free Industrial Zone, based on a lease agreement dated March 28, 2018, with Georgian International Holding Ltd. (ID 204565577, FIZ administrator), registered with the Public Registry of Georgia.
The leased land plot is 32,330 square meters.
